Raising Your Vibration

Always Sunny Magazine🌻
6 min readMar 13, 2022

Vibration is another word for the aura. A vibration is a state of being, the atmosphere, or the energetic quality of a person, place, thought, or thing. Much of reading “vibes” is intuitive — you can tell a person’s energy when they walk into a room, for example.

The older I get, the more critical it is to have a positive mindset and move on a high frequency. I’ve gone into a depressive episode once a year because I let my sadness take over my body. This year, I’m focusing on remaining positive because I’m JUST NOW realizing that it only helps more than it hurts. Every time I learn something, I want to share it with the world because we all can find ways to be better every day. And whether that’s in your mind or body, it is necessary to become more fit for many different aspects of society.

In my last article about why it’s essential to remain positive, I spoke about how hard it can be to keep self and spiritual positivity, why it’s crucial to have a positive mind frame, ways to add it to your life, and more. I had to follow up and talk about ways to naturally raise your vibration. I made this article simplistic, so my readers can understand that it can all be less complicated than we make it. When you’re on the journey to becoming your best self, it’s easy to overlook everything in the present.

  1. Eat High Vibe Food

Whenever my mood goes downhill, I take a step back and look at everything from the outside inward. Often, when I disregard my meal plans and eat whatever I want with no structure is usually the start to falling into depression. Have you ever noticed that when you’re depressed, your appetite is off? However, you start eating if you even eat at all, which takes a massive toll on your mental health. Eating is the start because you don’t have to make drastic changes to your diet, but you can just choose healthier options. I understand that there may not be amazingly healthy food everywhere in the world, but the least you can do is choose the HEALTHIER option. Taking little steps forward is more important than taking years to make one giant step.

Here is a small list of some foods that you can add to your daily diet to enhance your energy throughout the day:

Bananas

Yogurt

Water

Sesame Seeds

Almonds

Beans

2. Listen to music you love

There’s something about hearing music that triggers nostalgia that can turn your entire day around. I know it sounds silly at hand, but just remind yourself that nothing is ever that serious and enjoy those moments of listening to your favorite tunes. When I’m down, I listen to my favorite playlist or sometimes listen to my favorite band, The Internet. Listening to music will never fail when it comes to uplifting your mood.

Here is a link to the music I’ve had in rotation:

Chill Heat 🔥 — Sunny Jae

3. Get More Sleep

If you’re not getting at least 5–6 hours of sleep, this can be a reason your mind isn’t able to focus. Many people say that 8 hours of sleep is a good night’s rest, but a person doesn’t even have to sleep that long to be well-rested. I trained my body to sleep for 6 hours, and I can still wake up and last an entire day without a nap. Don’t get me wrong, there are days where I fold and sometimes oversleep or may not get out of bed, and that’s okay. The important part is continuing with consistency.

4. Read a book

Reading is something I’ve been doing since I was in elementary. When I got to high school and actually had to read for school, I stopped reading for pleasure and didn’t pick it up again until college. In school, when I could read for fun, I started with self-help books. I love reading because all your worries just slip your mind, and you’re able to focus on what’s happening in front of you. Avid readers can tell you that reading is the best addiction to have because you enjoy it and become so attached to certain books, their characters, and stories. I recommend reading when you’ve felt like you fell off because that’s when you feel the most connected, I can assure you. It’s a great distraction. I mention this in every other article because we should all read more.

5. Allow Yourself to Feel

To grow in the right direction, you must allow yourself the space to feel and vent as needed. It’s hard to not hold on to feelings, which is why many people don’t achieve their goals and dreams. It’s because they hold on to suppressed feelings then get stuck feeling bad for themselves. I’m guilty of this too, but I’m learning to keep going even on the days I feel slumped and unsure of everything happening in the atmosphere. Allow yourself to vent or brain dump. Recognize how you feel in those moments and name the emotion. Don’t judge yourself for how you think because you’re entitled to your feelings. Allowing yourself feel will uplift your mood and also build self-compassion that adds how you show love to someone else who may be struggling or sad because you know that feeling.

Here is an additional list of ways I pull myself out of the gutter

  • Call my family
  • Write in my journal
  • Go for a walk
  • Practice yoga
  • Cook a nice meal
  • Take a drive
  • Exercise
  • Watch a comedy

You Vibrate On Your Own Frequency

All of these are contributions to bringing yourself back down to earth and raising your vibration. Every day I’m learning how to connect my mind and body. It’s elementary to lose control of the present moment, and when you’re focused on activities that add value to your lifestyle, you’re bound to increase your level of happiness. I hope you can take something from this article and apply it to your everyday life. The objective of the Sunny Daze Magazine is to help all of our readers connect with themselves through the mind, body, and soul. The higher your energy or vibration frequency, the lighter you feel in your physical, emotional, and mental bodies. You experience greater personal power, clarity, peace, love, and joy. You have little, if any, discomfort or pain in your physical body, and your emotions are efficiently dealt with.

Always,

Sunny
