What is a Spiritual Journey?
What does it mean to you?
A spiritual journey is what you would take to find out who you are, what your problems are in life, and how to come to peace with the world. The purpose of a spiritual journey is rare to find an answer; instead, it is continually asking questions.
How do you know if you’re on a spiritual journey?
- You feel disconnected or detached.
- You’ve reevaluated your beliefs
- Your dreams are more vivid
- Your relationships begin to shift
These are a few things that give you an idea of whether or not you’re in this part of your life. Spiritual journeys typically happen during significant shifts. Even if you’re not in this stage of your life, you can always create this new space and begin learning how to become the higher version of yourself. This series on the blog will be all about spiritual awakening, and I’m so excited to share my thoughts and tips with people who are in the same position as I am.
Some of the questions to think about during your spiritual journey are:
- Who am I?
- What is important to me?
- Am I holding on to things I need to let go of?
- What matters most in my life?
- How can I move forward?
- Where do I want to be six months from now?
- How can I feed my soul?
- What am I afraid of?
These are questions to think about when you’re entering a new phase of life and even if you’re unsure of where this phase may take you. I’m learning that it’s crucial to have a plan, even if it doesn’t work out as needed.
There was a point where embarking on a spiritual journey was extremely popular, and everyone wanted to level up spiritually, which was a beautiful thing. I miss the time where everyone was highly concerned with spiritual awakening. I remember seeing so many videos on YouTube about becoming more liberated. I, too, was a victim of being a serial healer. I was obsessed. I’ve always desired to become more elevated in spirit because I believe in having a life purpose. When you’re trying to figure it out, it seems so complicated. When you have your breakthrough, it’s easier to see what you could have done differently.
I thought I was going through my spiritual journey when I was just obsessed with the idea of being spiritual. I never really had an assuring moment until recently. I noticed that it wasn’t about what I learned but how I applied myself and implemented those practices in my life.
There are so many different journeys. We have our hair journey, fitness journey, level up journey, feminine journey, organization journey, etc. The list can go on because everyone endears their adventure, no matter what field.
I’m here to create a community of people who are at the heart of their spiritual journey like me. There are many ways to find out who you are and what you stand for. I’m almost 25, and it feels like I have to have everything figured out. I know that’s not true, but I at least want to get to know myself more to figure my life out in-depth.
I’m so excited to share my knowledge and do my part. My goal in this article is to connect with people in an in-between phase. I’m here to remind you that it’s okay; your life has just begun.
Sincerely,
Sunny
